In this 1-hour and 30 minute live webinar, facilitator Ashley Heidebrecht, LMSW, will provide a crash course in terminology and important social context related to asexuality, attraction, and asexual visibility. This training will provide insight into the experiences that individuals who are on the asexual spectrum may have, with specific focus on the complex sexuality of being on the asexual spectrum and queer.
Participants will be able to:
Examine important terminology related to asexuality and sexual orientation
Discuss the impact of societal narratives on awareness of asexuality and sexual orientation
Identify ways to support and act in allyship toward people on the asexual spectrum
